Headwater specialises in expertly curated walking, cycling and relaxed activity holidays throughout Europe, the Mediterranean and Bermuda. During a six month stint as a creative copywriter at Engine Group, I worked on and won the pitch to redesign the brand’s annual brochure.
Working with a small design team, our brief was to make the brochure feel more premium and I led the development of a new, more confident Tone of Voice, and many of my ideas and suggestions regarding typography and layout were incorporated into the redesign. I worked on all the copy in the 194 page brochure.
Having pitched for and won YO! Sushi’s social media account in 2018 (whilst at Nu-Fu / ENGINE), I worked in partnership with an art director to map out the brand’s monthly social media calendar, develop and create all social posts.
In addition to our social media remit, we worked across a number of integrated communications and campaigns for YO! that included OOH, and in-store. YO! launched a new brand identity while I worked with them (brilliantly designed by London design agency Zag) and together with my art director partner, we crafted their social-specific TOV and brand guidelines.
YO! was also in the process of bringing a range of retail products to market at the time, so we got to work on some of the packaging design and copy too.
