Framestore

Framestore is one of the world’s leading VFX and post production companies – it develops technologies and methodologies to make magical things possible in film. From making the world of Harry Potter (and more recently, Newt Scamander) come alive with fantastic beasts, to designing and animated Paddington for the big screen, to working closely with director Alfonso Cuarón to make the multi-oscar winning film Gravity – if you need world-beating, award-winning VFX, Framestore’s door is the one you need to be knocking on.

Framestore’s Global Marketing Director Stephanie Bruning commissioned me to write up some of their latest projects in the run up to Christmas 2018 and up to the end of February 2019. In order to write each piece, I interviewed relevant VFX producers and supervisors to find out more about Framestore’s work on the project in question. The copy I wrote was then used to create press releases and also features on Framestore’s website.

Projects I have written about included VFX-laden Christmas films for Barbour and McDonalds, Waitrose’s funny ‘Too Good To Wait’ Christmas campaign, and a butt-shaking title sequence for Ciclope Festival and awards. Framestore’s work is, frankly, amazing – click the images to watch and marvel at the wonder of each piece of work and read my write up.
